This painting is made as the front page for the latest ‘Nightside’ series by the great science fiction & fantasy-author Simon R. Green. That series, which mix up the elements from the hard-boiled whodunit with those from the modern fiction & fantasy, becomes a new wonder in the fiction & fantasy story society. Hence, when designing the front page, I am trying to use the visional-reality surrealistic style technique in order to describe the shadowland derived from reality, the depressive mood and cold colour. Here I bring the picture from ‘Hex and the City’, which is one story in that series, to you guys in advance.
